# Who Farmer1st is for: companies, governments, NGOs and investors

> Farmer1st is built for everyone who depends on the first mile: food and agri companies and traders who need EUDR-ready origin data, governments building national traceability, NGOs, donors, banks and researchers who need direct access to farmers, and investors looking at first-mile infrastructure. Different questions, one farmer-controlled network underneath.

Different questions, one network underneath.

- [Food & agri companies and traders](https://farmer1st.org/en/who-its-for/food-agri-companies/) — Brands, traders, processors, exporters and cooperatives: first-mile data you can file, audit and build on.
- [Governments & national programmes](https://farmer1st.org/en/who-its-for/governments/) — A national farmer registry, plot mapping and export traceability, hosted in-country and built to work with the institutions you already have.
- [NGOs, donors, banks & researchers](https://farmer1st.org/en/who-its-for/ngos-donors-banks/) — Ask the right farmers, close the gaps you find and report the impact: surveys, training and measurement on one network.
- [Investors](https://farmer1st.org/en/who-its-for/investors/) — First-mile data is the missing layer. A farmer-controlled network, private by default and pre-competitive by choice, is how it gets built.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can several types of actors work on the same farmers?

Yes. That is the point of the [pre-competitive network](/pre-competitive-network/): a company, a national programme and an NGO can work with the same farmers, each seeing only what the farmer has consented to share with it.

### We are a cooperative. Is Farmer1st for us?

Yes. Cooperatives use the field apps to register members, map plots and share verified data with the buyers they choose, without collecting the same facts again for each one.

### How do investors learn more?

See the [investors page](/who-its-for/investors/) for our thesis and model, and ask for the deck through the [contact form](/get-a-prototype/#contact).
