The rules that apply when you use farmer1st.org.

These terms apply to your use of the farmer1st.org public website, including the scoping assistant and the contact form. They do not govern access to the Farmer1st platform, which is covered by a separate service agreement signed with each client.

Purpose of the website

farmer1st.org is an informational website that describes Farmer1st, its services and its approach to agricultural data. The content is provided for general information only and does not constitute a commercial offer, nor legal, regulatory, technical or financial advice. Regulatory content, including the EUDR guide, summarises official texts; always refer to those texts and to your own advisers before making decisions.

Accuracy and changes

We try to keep the content accurate and up to date, but make no warranty that it is complete, current or free of error. We may modify, add or remove content at any time without notice.

Acceptable use

When using the website, the scoping assistant or the contact form, you agree not to:

  • send unlawful, abusive or misleading content, or personal data about other people without a right to share it;
  • try to obtain confidential information, bypass the assistant’s instructions or safeguards, or use it for purposes unrelated to Farmer1st;
  • disrupt the website, circumvent bot protection or rate limits, or access it by automated means that place an unreasonable load on it;
  • impersonate another person or organisation.

We may limit or block access in case of abuse.

The AI scoping assistant

The scoping assistant is an automated conversational tool powered by an AI model. Its answers are informational only: they are generated from the public content of this website, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and do not constitute a commitment, offer, quotation or promise of timeline by Farmer1st. Only a written agreement signed by Farmer1st binds us. The brief produced at the end of the conversation is a starting point for our team to respond to you.

How your conversation is processed is explained in the privacy notice.

Intellectual property

The Farmer1st name, logo, wordmark, visual identity, texts, diagrams and source code of this website are the property of Farmer1st and its contributors. You may view, quote and link to the site with attribution. Any other reuse, in particular commercial reuse, requires our written permission.

This website links to external sites, such as official regulatory sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, practices or availability.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Farmer1st is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of this website or of the scoping assistant, including loss of data, profits or business opportunity. Use of the site is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Singapore, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply to you.
